Sepulcro de Diego Álvarez de Soutomaior "O Mozo"
Se trata de un sarcófago con tapa labrada, bastante maltratado por el tiempo y otras agresiones puntuales, sito en las ruinas del Convento de Santo Domingo de Pontevedra. Concretamente en uno de los arcosolios del absidiolo extremo del lado de la Epístola. La sepultura data de principios del s. XIV.
Diego Álvarez de Soutomaior era Señor de Lantañón. En la tapa se le representa con arnés de caballero. Su hijo Paio Gómez de Soutomaior, embajador del rey de Castilla ante Tamelán en Samarcanda, heredó los señoríos de Lantañón y de Rianxo, este último por parte de madre. También recibió sepultura en Santo Domingo, junto con su padre. El hijo de Paio, Sueiro Gómez de Soutomaior, mariscal de Castilla, fue asimismo enterrado en el convento dominico.

This is a carved sarcophagus lid, quite battered by time and other specific attacks, located in the ruins of the Convent of St. Dominic of Pontevedra. Specifically, in one of the arcosoliums of the last apse chapel of the Epistle side. The tomb dates from the early fourteenth century.
Diego Álvarez de Soutomaior was Lord of Lantañón. At the sarcophagus lid is depicted with a harness of a knight. His son Paio Gómez de Soutomaior, Ambassador of the King of Castile to Tamerlane in Samarkand, inherited the manors of Lantañón and Rianxo, the latter by mother side. Was also buried in St. Dominic, along with his father. The son of Paio, Sueiro Gómez de Soutomaior, marshal of Castile, was buried in the Dominican convent too.
