Last night, trip-hop favorite Bitter:Sweet — now the solo project of singer and songwriter Shana Halligan — celebrated the release of the new album Baby is Back with an unforgettable performance at the Peppermint Club in West Hollywood.

For longtime fans like myself, who first fell in love with Bitter:Sweet when they opened for Serj Tankian at the Wiltern in 2008, the night felt like a joyful reunion and a true full-circle moment.
