Double Occultation

Just as Jupiter peaked out from behind the Moon, the Moon peaked out from behind Lick Observatory on Mount Hamilton

 

First draft - taken at 5:20am this morning from Joseph D Grant Park. The only shooting location that lined up properly required shooting thru a gap in the trees. If you look carefully, you can see two of Jupiter’s moons up and to the right of Jupiter (Ganymede and Callisto)
