Fogscape at the Cape
Cape Kiritappu, located between Kushiro and Nemuro in eastern Hokkaido, Japan, in foggy weather. This fits the Japanese rendering of the name of the cape: kiri (霧) = fog, ta (多) = much. (However, "Kiritappu" originally comes from the Ainu language, meaning "the place where to reap thatch".)
The yellow flowers in the foreground are daylilies (zenteika), the purple ones Japanese irises (ayame).
Camera: Canon EOS 80D.
Lens: Canon EF-S 18-135mm f/3.5-5.6 IS USM.
