Leafhopper (Eupteryx melissae) on purple sage leaf. Sage looks amazingly hairy this close up!
I'm trying to get a record of as many of my garden inhabitants as possible. I've more pics of this, showing different angles, which I'll add here if that helps with ID.
Handheld, natural light, some cropping. The white hairs on the sage made it quite hard getting the exposure right - still think it looks a bit washed out. (It's here as a garden record rather than as an amazing bit of photography!)
