Landstingshuset, Stockholm

The Stockholm County Council convenes in Landstingshuset, formerly the military hospital Garnisonssjukhuset (1816-34) and extended 1970. The neoclassical building is quite distinctive.

 

Este edificio queda en la isla de Kungsholmen. Fue construido a principios del siglo XIX como hospital y lo fue hasta 1969. Era el hospital más grande y mejor, no solo de Suecia, sino de toda Escandinavia. Solo en 1971 pasó a ser la sede de la Prefectura de Estocolmo.
