Formula Dé
Formula Dé is a board game which simulates motor racing by having differently shaped dice representing the different gears - for example, when in first gear the player rolls the yellow four-sided tetrahedron (which is numbered 1, 1, 2, 2). The other shapes are cube (orange), octahedron (red), dodecahedron (green), icosahedron (purple and black) and the rhombic triacontahedron (blue).
Game notes
Strictly speaking this isn't the original French game Formula Dé which is a simulation of Formula 1 motor racing, but the American remake Formula D which has colourful cars rather than the nice pewter ones and rules for 'street racing' variants.
