Blurry Travel Pals

Sitting in the park, a Vietnamese guy, Ling, approached me and started chatting. He had met a French tourist, Jeremie, an hour ago and invited me to hang out with them in the park. He often tries to meet foreigners to practice his English and offers to be a free tour guide. We hung out, got taro ice cream, and he showed us the delicious bun place. We talked French, American, and Vietnamese sports, politics, culture, and religion, and had a blast being travel pals for a few hours.
