2002 :60 “Happenin’ Every Day” Television Ad

 

In 2002, NOTMC launched their "happenin' every day" campaign, which focused on the food, music, ambience, and good times New Orleans offers any time of the year. It marked a shift from the purely direct-response approach of prior years by adding a strong image component. This television spot, featuring local jazz great Kermit Ruffins, received the 2002 HSMAI Gold Award for Excellence.
