Bost Building - NRHP marker

Building is on the National Register of Historic Places list.

 

Marker text reads: Bost Building has been designated a National Historic Landmark. This building possesses national significance in commemorating the history of the United States of America. This was the headquarters of the Amalgamated Association of Iron and Steel Workers at the time of the Homestead Strike. It is one of the principal structures associated with the "Battle of Homestead" on July 6 1892. A significant event in the struggle for workers' rights. 1999 National Park Service United States Department of the Interior.
