last year was a bit of a weird year for me, i had some good opertunities and took some photos i was kinda proud of but a lot of things felt really stale and that i was just treading water. i wasn't getting anywhere and wasn't overly enjoying taking photos while feeling like everyone was surpassing me by miles.

 

things in my personnal life were up and down and i think that was a factor in me deciding to stop photography. it was an added stress i didn't need.

 

so its 2009 and i made the decision at the end of last year to buy a new camera and get back into things. we'll see where this takes me but for the first time in a while, taking photos excites me again.
