Advertising Card: Candee Rubbers

One of my girls was saying that when I came to visit her, she hoped I would bring my rubbers. I was sort of embarrassed, because I had no idea what she was talking about, and I just couldn't bring myself to ask her. I thought, and I hate to mention it, that she might be referring to something indelicate, and I had never put her in that category. I never think of women in that category. I'm not even sure what that category is.

 

Then recently up at the Winston-Salem Antique Show, I found this advertising card, and i knew that that must be what she was talking about. I don't have a pair, but I'm going to look in to buying one, or several. They really ought to have been hot sellers, so I'd guess they're still in business.

 

I hope I don't have to tell you that, for the time, this was a rather risque photograph, without the condom connection. She really doesn't need that little bit of slip that's showing. That's there for titillation value, and if I know my ladies, they were very well-titillated.
