Who you calling big nose?
This funny looking character I believe is called a Bignose Unicornfish. It's scientific name is the Naso Vladmingii. These vlamingii tang are mostly herbivorous but will eat small crustaceans such as copepods, brine shrimp and mysis shrimp. Most of their natural diet is algae.
The bignose unicornfish is also a member of the surgeonfish family, which means it has ‘cutting keels,’ or perpendicular bony plates near its tail that can act as knives to protect the fish.
What I liked most about this fish is that it really has a human like face with the nose and lips but it was also very curious about me and had no problem swimming up to my face, almost to the point where a few shots were completely off focus because he was too close to me.
