Albemarle-Pamlico Peninsula

A sailboat on its side in a calm protected backwater. A week prior the waters were not so calm as Hurricane Matthew drifted on by. The cane delivered damaging winds and record rains to the area. Buildings, roads and interstates were damaged by water and wind. In all, four state were affected from Florida to North Carolina.
