A. Max Brewer Bridge, Titusville, Florida, U.S.A.

A. Max Brewer Bridge is a concrete bridge in Titusville, Florida.[1] The bridge is worth $44.8 million. The bridge was selected for the People’s Choice Award, an award presented by the American Association of State Highway and Transportation Officials.

The bridge went under construction because of poor condition, which could have caused the bridge to collapse. A high-level fixed bridge was replaced over the low-level and short original bridge.

The Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT), District Five, replaced the State Road 406 swing span bridge, also known as the A. Max Brewer Bridge, over the Indian River with a high level, fixed span bridge. This project also included replacing the south relief bridge located west of the Max Brewer Bridge and building a 300-foot long fishing pier on the west bank under the north side of the bridge.
