Solo in the sun

Hey everyone, so I am a bit behind on personal photos as well as keeping up with everyone on flickr but I hope to do some catching up this weekend. The month of November had me pretty slammed with family shoots and weddings but I did manage to get out a do some shooting.

At the end of November I was in Hilton Head South Carolina for a friends wedding and made a point to make some stops on the way home at some locations that have been on my must see list for a while now.

One of those stops was the beach on Edisto Island in South Carolina. This was such an awesome place to see and one of the more unique places I have seen in my travels. the beach is covered with sea shells and lined with a mix of palm trees and live oak trees. You aren't allowed to remove anything from the beach so it is truly an untouched place.

Unfortunately my travel plans had my at the beach at high noon but I still manage to get a few good shots. This shot is of one of the old trees in the ocean surf on Edisto beach. This is definitely a place I will come back to for a sunrise or sunset.
