Moholy-Nagy Light-Space Modulator #14
This is part of a series of images that depict Lászlo Moholy-Nagy's Light-Space Modulator, located in the Busch-Reisinger museum inside the Fogg Art Museum at Harvard. Moholy-Nagy was a pioneering Hungarian designer/ photographer/ filmaker/painter of the Bauhaus movement. When in operation ( it's powered by electricity) the Light-Space Modulator creates a variety of forms and casts a variety of shapes/shadows on the walls and ground around it. Very, very cool (but hopelessly quaint, if your idea of ground-breaking visuals is MTV). A must-see if you are ever in Boston.
