The Bald Faced Stag

This building is now a private residence, but it was once a grand coaching inn. Built in classic Georgian style in 1838, it has been preserved in wonderful condition.

 

I couldn't get a front on view here because the building is "protected" by a row of thick trees. I think it's fair to say the rendered finish was not in the original.
