Neat as a pin Amoco, and an older one no longer with us
The inset photo is NOT of this location, but a circa 1978 picture of nearby Horn Lake Amoco, now an Aldi Foods parking lot. This present day BP once looked like this vintage photo.
From the pictures, this converted Amoco, built in 1969, looks to be very well-kept. It's about a city block south of Graceland, and looks very much like the Amoco that was at I-55 and Goodman Rd. in nearby Horn Lake, MS, before that interchange was widened circa 1990. To my knowledge, I have never been in this particular Amoco.
The present day modern pump canopy was installed sometime between 1981-1990, the original canopy would of been very similar to the one in the vintage inset photo.
