Chengdu Feb '07 - Leshan Grand Buddha

An hour and a half south of Chengdu is a city called Leshan. The biggest Buddha in the world is there. It is carved out of a cliff on the bank of a large river. It's quite beautiful and the hills surrounding it are covered with a network of trails connecting various Buddhist temples. It's an interesting complex and definitely worth seeing.
