This photo was taken by Moshe, and processed by me, with Moshe supervising me from afar, and giving his final approval. If only he was less lazy... and do it himself! Oh well... love him anyway *s*.
The truth is, he's still experiencing the rough side effects of the jet lag, even though it's been a week since he got back home. Can't sleep long at night, and falls apart in the afternoon. Strange phenomenon, this jet lag... It brings me down too... but has no effect on Joe. Go figure...
The textures I've used to process this photo came from ground*floor. I tried to go for the old world look and feel, in color. Do you think it works?
Check inside the comments for a different take on the SS Moyie - Different angle and processing.
Calgary's only paddle wheeler, the SS Moyie, is sailing on the Glenmore Reservoir, as part of the attractions at Heritage Park. The Moyie is a 122-tonne, 200-passenger, small-scale replica of the SS Moyie in Kaslo, B. C. This version of the Moyie, which began sailing in 1965, conducts trips every 35 minutes on the Glenmore Reservoir. In addition to its usual schedule of trips, the SS Moyie is also used for weddings and other ceremonies.
Check this cute short video in sepia of the SS Moyie on YouTube. And if you have any interest to read about the original SS Moyie, check SS Moyie National Historic Site.
