Dot Com and gone in the year 2000

"Resist The Dot Con." I was visiting the Mission in San Francisco when I took this photo during the Summer of 2000. The Dot Com boom had already gone bust the previous April, but the changes to the neighborhood had already reached the point of no return. Families left in droves as residual dotcommers and proto-hipsters changed the face of the Mission.
