Yet Another Eiffel Tower

This one is an oldie, one of the first photos I shot of the Eiffel Tower, one of the first that was about the Eiffel Tower anyway. I think I have some tourist snapshots laying around somewhere as well. I took this photo almost 10 years back when I was visiting Paris for a weekend on a dare with a friend of mine.

I didn't know much about photography then. Hell, I am not even sure I do now, but at least I have learned to lean into the little bit of creativity I seem to posses. I have to thank my mom for that, as she was the creative one in the family. God rest her soul.

Now that the restrictions in France are loosening a bit, one can, once again, visiting this amazing city with its iconic landmarks. And for those of you with kids, even Disneyland Paris is preparing to open its doors again. πŸ˜‡

Why not take this opportunity to visit one of the greatest cities in the world and experience it in a way that will not be possible for very much longer. Use the absence of massif tourism to see the city in a way few people but the locals have been able to!

I, for one, will keep on going back to this city full of splendor, memories and hidden gems!

Have you ever been to Paris? Do you have any special or hidden spots you might want me to photograph? Let me know and I just might!

I hope you enjoy this photo as much as I do. If you do, why not follow me on Instagram: @jackoleenders (bit.ly/3qFYlRy). It will help me out greatly!
