Cork Society Breakfast Briefing 2012

On November 16th at the Clarion Hotel, Simon Coveney was guest speaker at the Chartered Accountants Cork Society Breakfast Briefing, ahead of what will be a very busy time for the Minister. The Lord Mayor, Councillor John Buttimer attended, as well many repreprestatives of the business sector in Cork including Conor Healy of Cork Chamber.

As Minister for Agriculture, Food and the Marine, Simon Coveney is expected to chair the EU Council of Agriculture Ministers for Ireland’s Presidency of the EU early next year.

Owen Hickey, Chair of the Cork Society expressed his gratitude that “the Minister has taken the time to speak at the Breakfast” and thanked everyone for making the time to attend after a busy tax season.
