Poe’s T-70 X wing (8)
This model features retractable landing gear, opening wings and a working astromech lift. Again credit must go to Mike Psiaki for the wing mechanism and whoever first used 1x2 slopes for the engine intakes (can’t remember where I saw them used :/ ) I also owe a lot to. The fuselage design is similar to the one seen on my T-65 but with a heavily altered rear to match the more streamlined appearance of the T-70. There’s no storage compartments ether as the droid lift mechanism takes up quite a lot of space! Excuse the fact that Poe isn’t the pilot – I haven’t got that figure :P
I’m quite pleased with how the rear engines look, I think the mud guard elements suit the profile of the back area better than the intakes imo ;) Although it does leave the thrusters looking a little odd :/
