ANDREWS LANE THEATRE [THIS IS WHAT REMAINS]-148156
ALT* Andrew's Lane was known for presenting the best emerging and established shows to come on the Irish and International circuit but unfortunately it has disappeared from the map of Dublin.
Back in 2016 it was announced that ALT [Andrews Lane Theatre] in Dublin city centre has been acquired for €4.4 million by Firebreak Hospitality and that they intended to seek planning permission for a 115-bedroom, limited-service hotel in a seven-storey development that would cost about €10 million. In March of 2018 An Bord Pleanála upheld the decision of Dublin city council to approve plans for an eight-storey “compact” hotel on the site of the old theatre, which closed in 2007.
