Mood's Covered Bridge (Bucks County, PA)

The Mood's Covered Bridge on Blooming Glen Road in Perkasie Pennsylvania is a tale of renewal. Originally built in 1874, in 2004 it was damaged by a truck and closed to traffic. On 6-22-2004, it fell to the flames of an arsonist. Keeping with the Bucks County tradition of historical preservation, an exact replica of the original bridge replaced the arson damaged structure. That new bridge opened for traffic in 2008. The bridge is 126 feet long and features a Town Truss design.

The bridge sits in a beautiful park with walking trails, park benches and lots of greenery to enjoy.
