Students from Aston Uni, Birmingham City Uni, Birmingham Uni and colleges and Sixth forms from around the Birmingham area march through the city and hold a rally in the centre of Birmingham to protest against the fees increase and attacks on EMA from the CONDEM government.
Students are joined by trade unions members and representatives.
The protest takes place a day before the vote to introduce the bill on tuition fees takes place in parliament.
