Looking cross the lake to 'The Ruins'

...at Virginia Water in Surrey.

 

The source of the columns, slabs and huge stones used to create "the Ruins" at Virginia Water is Leptis Magna, a Roman city sited on the shores of the Med near Tripoli in present day Libya. The remains of that city are still there, largely buried by sand.
