G-STRI Boeing 737-33A Flybe British European

Taxiing out for departure at Dublin Airport, 1st October 2006.

The 737's were leased from Astraeus Airlines to Flybe in 2006.

G-STRI has quite a long list of previous operators, and certainly was no stranger to Dublin Airport in various different guises.....

Built in 1991 for VASP as PP-SOF, she then went to Eurobelgian Airlines and Maersk Air after both as OO-LTO, Oman Air as VH-OAN, Star Europe and Air Provence as F-GRSA.

In 1997 she became Greek as SX-BBT with Cronus Airlines, which then merged with fellow greek carrier to become Aegean Cronus Airlines, until becoming as it is today Aegean Airlines. Astraeus Airlines then took over the lease, and various sub leases to to Flybe above, and FlyMe of Sweden., and Sterling Airlines of Denmark, and Iceland Express.

Slovakian Carrier Seagle Air then took her as OM-HLB, and finally Eastern Skyjets of Dubai as A6-ESS.
