No wonder they only listed 3 things in the Programme content, a TRULY WONDERFUL IN DEPTH TOUR OF N. WALES WITH ARCIVE FILM FOOTAGE OF SOME OF THE LOCATIONS :-

 

Started with a dive to the Wreck of the RESURGAM, first SUBMARINE (translates to "I will rise again" full scale model above in Birkenhead opposite Liverpool on the Mersey} which sank in 1880 OFF RHYL,

 

Then Blaenau Ffestiniog to the defunct Largest Slate Mine, with a demo BLAST of Face of Slate, another part of which is now also the home of BOUNCE BELOW TRAMPOLINES part of the ZIP WORLD EMPIRE,

 

Then TRAWSFYNEDD, tour of now defunct Nuclear Power Station,

 

Then met Mark Baker at BRYNKIR ESTATE, who is also restoring GWRYCH CASTLE in Abergele, where he met him again in the programme for a guided tour there,

 

Then onto PLAS TEG MANSION to meet the eccentric Lady Owner restoring and filling with collections of many artistic items,

 

Onto what was / is still TOP SECRET MUNITIONS PLANT at RHYDYMYUN, where, they produced huge amounts of Mustard Gas in the 2nd. World War and also investigated URANIUM,

 

Back to Blaenau Ffestiniog to the mountain there - MANOD MAWR - where at the start of the 2nd. World War the caves left after Slate Mining were hurriedly developed to store the National Gallery's 3,000 + ART COLLECTION.
