Debbie Millman MOO Luxe Project
This collection of cards includes excerpts from the artwork I created for my books Self-Portrait As Your Traitor, Look Both Ways and my collection of MOO “Happy” cards. Since so much of my illustrative work is word-based, I thought it might be fun to deconstruct the art I’d created to be able to infinitely reconstruct new sentences.
I picked some of my favorite words or phrases in 20 or 30 of my visual essays--which means I chose from over 250 individual pieces of art. They can be mixed and matched now in any number of ways, and can see seen as a paper equivalent of refrigerator magnet poetry. Proceeds of this work went to the Joyful Heart Foundation, for the No More campaign.
