Karen

This is the second portrait from the shoot with Toronto based actress Karen Glave as a model. More of the shoot will be posted on the website that I manage for her: www.karenglave.com.

 

This one was in a series inspired by a picture by Piotr Zgodziński, "Ewa" that I saw in a recently bought book: Light and Shoot 50 Fashion Photos.

I initially tried to shoot this with the window light and a reflector as seen in the Piotr Zgodziński picture. That did not quite balance right with the background light so I decided to use a speedlite through an umbrella.
