Yining Mosque (Yining, Xinjiang)

Yining (sometimes called Gulja or Qulja and formerly Ili and Kulja) is a county-level city in the northwestern part of Xinjiang in the People's Republic of China. It is the seat of the Ili Kazakh Autonomous Prefecture. Historically, Yining is the successor to the ruined city of Almaliq in neighbouring Huocheng County.
