San Diego Green Sea Turtle with Leopard Sharks
Last year around this time I decided to go swimming with the leopards sharks in the ocean off the beach at La Jolla Shores in San Diego. After I did that I posted a few photos and videos on my blog. So when the sun finally came out today after being behind the clouds for a number of days, I decided to get some exercise and do it again. When I got in the water and started swimming around I was amazed with how much life was cruising around in the ocean. I saw large bat rays, guitar fish, hundreds of leopard sharks, sea bass, small schooling mackerel, sting rays and to my amazement, I saw this green sea turtle. In all my time diving in San Diego, I have never seen a sea turtle off our coast. I'll try and post a couple other videos to show the sharks more closely.
