Toby was finally starting to tire - you can tell because he's lying down between retrieves.
At this point I usually grab the rake and tidy the bark up - Toby loves to snowplow it when fetching - and see if he perks back up.
Often he takes the opportunity to go for a quick drink in the waterfalls.
If he's back on his paws when I'm done raking we go for another round, otherwise it's time to come in.
