On the fourth day of our tour of Oman, we left the beautiful nature behind to see some of the most impressive historical and cultural sites in the country. I was really excited about visiting these impressive forts and castles because it was the main reason for me to come to Oman.
After visiting the impressive Jabrin Castle and Bahla Fort, we arrived at the historic city of Nizwa. Nizwa is known for Nizwa Fort which was considered to be Oman's most visited national monument at time of visit. The most distinctive feature of Nizwa Fort was the round tower. We got to Nizwa Fort just in time for sunset.
