Inverary Castle (Front Entrance View), Scotland

I've travelled through Inverary many times over the years but until May I had never stopped off at Inverary Castle to have a look at it.

 

I normally would be happy to cross over the single track hump back bridge that connects the entry road with the village and look right at it's peak to see the ramparts and towers of the castle, but this time we had some time to spare so we popped in to have a quick look at the castle in all it's glory.
