Film Review Blog No. 75 - Fujichrome Velvia 50
A classic reborn! One often wonders if Fuji used the return of Velvia as a base for future ending and returning of film stocks! The new version, Velvia 50 (RVP50), offers up almost the same experience as the classic emulsion. Rich, deep, saturated, and contrasty to a fault. It's a fickle film that is true of most slide films, but Velvia 50 is one of the hardest films I've worked with and makes me realize why I don't shoot many slide films.
The Full Review drops in September 2021!
