Custom House Plaza - Monterey, CA

Tried this panorama again for a slightly different look.

Monterey's historic Custom House Plaza is the center piece for some of Monterey's large events. The Custom House is California's oldest government building, constructed in 1827 for the collection of duties (taxes) on all imported goods via ship into California during Mexican rule. Today the Custom House is a museum open to the public. The Maritime Museum is among the attractions in the plaza that treat visitors to historic information of old Monterey. Tours of the historic Monterey 's Path of History is provided by the California State Parks system starting from the Maritime museum. The Custom House Plaza is located next to Fisherman's wharf.
