Digital Puppetry / Tine Papendick (DE)
Hasn’t everyone, at some time or other, thought about what it would be like to slip into someone else’s skin? A cartoon superhero or a notorious gangster boss, for instance. These fantasies are the starting point of Digital Puppetry, an interactive installation that takes a fun, entertaining approach to making them come true. What visitors see first on the installation’s jumbo monitor are their own reflection and an interesting array of articles of clothing and accessories. Via gesture control, visitors can then apply these items to their digital reflection.
