Young Black Bear.
I posted some other pictures of this young black bear when I first joined Flickr.
I saw this one the other day while looking at some shots from this summer.
He has that, "Whoa, where did you come from", look on his face.
I was able to work with him for around 40 minutes and he let me work within 15 feet of me. This after a few bluff charges. Had to get it out of his system. Then he was fine.
An angry cow moose ran both of us off and after the third time, we both decided that we would find something else to do.
She was very persistent.
