Still startled by her own evil surprise
I couldn't stand my hair any longer, and ended up at Shelley's chair at Grand Effex salon in Negaunee for a haircut. Shelley is a hoot, and a Halloween fanatic. She'd been in Walmart with her mother and seen some Halloween candles she liked but money is really tight and she couldn't afford them. Her mom wanted to buy them for her as a gift but Shelley said no, until she saw the jack-in-the-box. Then she persuaded her mother to buy it for her instead. She had it at home, but her 10 year old said he was never coming in the house again if she left it there so she brought it to the salon.
