1999 - 'September 1999-1', a free-geometric abstract oil painting on canvas for sale; Dutch Abstract Expressionism art / Hollands abstract-expressionisme; free image in public domain / Commons, CC-BY – painter-artist, Fons Heijnsbroek

'Sept 1999-1' - abstract oil & acrylic painting on canvas no. 5.094 - including a piece of mounted and glued acrylic mirror.

The small painting I made in a composition of basic geometric forms, in 1999. The under layer is acrylic paint; the layers at top in oil.

This painting on canvas has a size of 50 x 60 cm; the original art-work on canvas is for sale.

I liked to use simple forms, those years. I was focused on the question how to arrange these forms so, that they would combine together and still kept an independent appearance for themselves.

I was then strongly influenced by the simple and basal painting art of Aboriginal artists, which I saw that year on an Aboriginal painting-show in Amsterdam.

Here in this work the red colors are dominant. At the left I glued a narrow acrylic mirror, so the painting would become a 'glued abstract collage art, including a part of the face of the viewer'.

This digital image of my art I placed here in high resolution on Flickr, in the public domain. I edited it digitally with great care for the hues, colors and texture of the original work. So it is available in free download, to use it for making your own fine quality art-print for at home on the wall if you like.

Please let me know in return when you do. Tell me if you like this specific work of mine. It gives me just a nice feeling to hear when one piece of my art is being enjoyed by other people. My mail is mail@dekunsten.net.

kind regards,

Contemporary Dutch painter-artist Fons Heijnsbroek, Amsterdam, The Netherlands.
