The Flames of Fall

I had long thought that New England had the world's best fall colors. I may have been wrong.

Last month I toured Patagonia during its fall season and I was blown away.

True, there weren't as many trees as you would see in New England, but when you found them, their color was truly magnificent.

Chorrillo del Salto is a small waterfall a bit north of the quaint town of El Chalten in southern Argentina. It's a nice waterfall but at any other time of the year it really wouldn't be all that different from thousands of others around the world. But during fall, the colors explode and you get scenes like this one.

Simply amazing,

Jeff
