333 N Water construction, Milwaukee
Construction site at 333 North Water Street in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. A 342 feet high, 31-story highrise is being built in Milwaukee's Third Ward, next to the Milwaukee River. Hines is the developer, the general contractor is W.E. O'Neil, and Michels is doing the foundation work (they are prepping the site in this view).
This view looks east, towards South Water Street.
Details in the scene include:
- A Manitowoc 10000A-1 crawler crane
- An ICE crane-suspended vibratory hammer ("vibro hammer"), for driving steel sheet pile and foundation piles (green machine on the ground in middle of picture)
- Powerpack for the ICE vibro hammer (large green box at right). You can trace the hoses from the powerpack to the vibro hammer
- Cylinder cage with gas cylinders
- Steel sheet piles
- Life rings along riverbank
- Michels Construction inflatable motorboat
