Old White Bell, Southery, Cambridgeshire

In the UK there are pubs called "The Bell" and pubs called "The Blue Bell". There is one pub called "The Golden Bell", but rather like "Brown Windsor Soup" and "Thai Green Curry" bells don't come in other colours - except Southery's "Old White Bell".

Southery has had by pass build round it - good for Southery but not for trade at the bell. The pub didn't turn up on any of our searches - we simply saw a sign for it at the turn-off from the by pass for the village.

Well, it's another East anglia pub photographed on a dismal New Year Day, but people keep asking if I put a photograph of every "bell" up . . . . . . .
