Speckled Racer (Drymobius margaritiferus margaritiferus)

The first snake found on the trip after a lot of searching, and one of my favorite snake finds ever. Saw it while hiking with my wife in a moist area on the edge of a lagoon. I lunged like a crazy man making sure to secure it before it got away. Data recorded at www.naherp.com.
