Traffic congestion on the A500 at Stoke
More torrential rain and another Ford Fiesta, albeit a later one. This time we're nose-to-tail in a traffic queue on the A500 at Stoke-on-Trent (sometimes called as the 'D' road). The queue was caused in part by the sheer volume of evening peak-time traffic, but also a minor two-car collision a little further up the road wasn't helping things along. Anyway, time for a picture, I thought. :-)
I just thought that I'd add that it's sometimes difficult taking these sorts of pictures because you have to wait for that precise moment for the windscreen wiper to pass; clearing the screen, then getting the picture before the rapid rain build-up on the screen again and the wipers making their next pass.
