Interior of St. Aedan's Church Jersey City
For the interior decor of the church,, Father McGinley and architect Edward A. Lehmann, a longtime Jersey City resident, chose mosaic tiles for much of the decorations. They selected the Italian ecclesiastical artist Ilario Panzironi of the Panzironi Brothers Studio of New York City to design the church interior. The Panzironis, descendants of sixteenth-century Florentine artisans, were renowned for their work on churches and cathedrals in Europe.
